Here at the Burrows Nursery, Askern, Doncaster, we understand the impact of growing and nurturing babies and children’s true potential for learning through a bespoke child lead environment that is built and developed drawing inspiration from a high scope based approach.

The Burrows Nursery provides children with the opportunity to learn and develop in a positive and open ended way drawing on parental input, theory and the voice of the child to create a truly magical learning experience.

At the Burrows nursery children’s happiness is key, we understand there must be certain conditions for children to truly flourish in their learning, by drawing on a wealth of information from parents and initial data we build those secure foundations that will be vital in unlocking each baby and child’s individual potential for growth.

Askern, Doncaster

The Burrows Nursery Askern is based within the Askern Family Hub. The nursery currently provides places for children from 2-4 across every afternoon 12:00-3:00 term time. From September we are very excited to offer 9 months funding in our new baby room between the hours of 09:00-3:00, term Time only!

From September we can also offer two sessions for our 2-4 year olds, 09:00-12:00 or 12:00-3:00. We will also be able to provide 30 hour funding!

The setting had been developed with the home environment as a focus to support children's initial transition from home. The environment has a variety of exciting, natural and bespoke learning areas drawing inspiration from a high scope based approach using the child's voice as a key focus.
